Bespoke Insight
Are your team members eager to grow and learn from evidence-informed practices? How can you tell?
Lessons from the business world and guidance from the EEF (2024) show that the way we put plans into action is key to making sustained changes in an organisation.
To keep positive changes going, it’s important to first understand the current situation. Real change won’t happen if your coworkers struggle with the culture around professional learning.
The Culture Insight (c) survey helps you understand how your colleagues feel about the aspects of organisational culture related to professional learning.

What’s the cost of not understanding your school’s culture for Professional Learning (PL)?
If staff don’t have the capacity for PL, the acceptance and impact of any Professional Development (PD) provided will be limited.
And that lack of capacity comes at a cost — in more ways than one.
- Upfront Costs
If PD is purchased but teachers lack the time or bandwidth to embed their learning, it’s simply not value for money. - Goodwill Costs
PD that doesn’t stick can alienate staff. Few things frustrate teachers more than feeling their time could have been better spent. Time wasted in school = essential work taken home. - Alienation and Apathy Costs
When teachers feel unable to grow or contribute, they start looking elsewhere. Negativity spreads quickly in staffrooms. - Recruitment and Retention Costs
As staff leave, HR costs rise — recruitment, induction and lost institutional knowledge all add up. - Outcome Costs
When teachers aren’t learning, students lose out on high-quality, evidence-informed teaching. Forcing compliance doesn’t fix this — it just breeds resentment and superficial change.
The Reality?
If you have one without the other… A culture that doesn’t actively nurture teachers’ professional contribution and efficacy costs money.
Sustainable learning cultures rely on both high-quality PD and thoughtful follow-up and professional dialogue.
If you have one without the other…
How many of these five costs are you already paying for?

What I offer

Made for your organisation
Culture Insights offer bespoke consultations to help you understand how your staff perceive the culture in your organisation.

Evidence
informed
Our Culture Insight (c) survey instrument has been developed from an academic analysis of a wider body of literature on leadership, organisational culture and professional learning. Piloted and evaluated in educational settings across the UK over several years, you can feel confident that our consultations are robust and evidence informed.

Beyond
the data
From individual, personalised or aggregated organisational analysis, our unique, validated, evidence informed survey forms the basis of the insight into your organisational culture. In-depth quantitative analysis enriches the picture we will paint for you. Our analyses are designed to facilitate your deep understanding of explicit and assumed cultural norms which promote and inhibit professional learning in your teams.

Promoting positive outcomes
We are committed to promoting the psychological safety of all stakeholders as we work with you. Every effort is made to protect individual user anonymity, enabling us to give leaders the most honest reflective insight. Our reports and in-depth analyses look deeper than traditional impact evaluations to uncover hidden trends in staff perceptions of your organisational culture.

Strategic and
operational
Our analyses inform and underpin your strategic and operational planning for professional development and learning in your organisation.

Beyond
insight
Professional coaching, key notes addresses for school INSET and teacher CPD facilitation is available to support you on your journey.
